Rating
I have tried many yoga towels and this is the best. I even bought a second one. I do power yoga so sweat/slipping is an issue and this works great. Also, it can be used as a cover on a rented mat. Highly recommended . One warning : I bought a red one and the color seems to bleed no matter how often I wash it. The purple bled the first washing, afterwards fine. I think they use natural dyes.

Rating
We're really enjoying our Yogitoes mats. They were purchased to use when we travel - since they seemed to be smaller and more portable than full size yoga mats. They're everything we hoped for. Very easy to use, easy too clean, and they work very well on carpeted floors in hotels.

Initially, I thought that they were a bit pricey; after using them for 3 weeks, I'm very pleased and would purchase again.

I've been doing Bikram yoga. My regular towels have a tendency to slip and bunch making the standing postures much more difficult than they need to be. These towels are AWESOME! I can do my postures, sweat profusely, and my towel stays put! They're expensive, but very well worth it. I'm going to buy a few more!

Ok I love yoga, but I sweat....a lot :) In general sweat and yoga mats don't go together. It is so hard to hold your down dog when your hands keep sliding all over the mat. This yoga towel is amazing, not only does it keep me in place during my pose but it absorbs the excess moisture from my hands, and feet. Down dog problem resolved. Since I purchased this I have not practiced yoga without it....I am 100% sure that I will never practice yoga without my yoga towel again.

Perfect to place on top of your sticky mat. Soaks up the sweat and keeps from sliding. Wash often or it will get really smelly!

This is a great product. I got it for a little extra traction during power yoga, and it was great for that. It provides a little extra cushioning, and completely covers the mat. I also use it during Bikram (hot) yoga instead of a towel, and it's great. It stay nice and smooth because of the little nubbly things, and of course--the very best thing--it's machine washable. I washed it seperately for awhile, because the directions said that the colors could run, but after a few weeks I started washing it with regular clothes and it's fine. It's a pleasure to use!

I was skeptical of buying this because I wasn't sure if it would work and would stop me from sliding around on my mat in my heated yoga class - I had been using a towel for a while but it wasn't helping - this product is amazing and I don't slide around at all anymore - I even bought one for my friend and she loves it too. I bought a yellow mat because I loved the brightness and the only thing to be aware of is that the lighter colors show dirt more - obviously it washes out but it's visible during class. Definitely worth the money!

I bought this at the same time as a new mat and love it. Even with the best skidless mat I tend to skid once I get sweaty palms. So it solves that problem when I take class. I also teach and like to have two mats in a t shape when leading yoga. This way I can use my mat on its own and cross the gym mat with the towel on top of it. Voila, no mat with someone else's germs on it for me.

If you want to be sanitary but not haul around your own mat, this is a perfect solution.

I have been practicing Hatha yoga for almost a year now. I noticed everyone had these towels but didn't appreciate how great they are! If you sweat a lot during your class, you probably slip on your mat - this eliminates that hassle and allows you to practice and sweat without a problem. Another added bonus is that your mat stays clean. Even if you have an old mat, you are better off extending the life of your mat by buying a yogitoes to put on your mat. Throw them in the wash and it's that easy. I sugggest NOT drying them though. I dried one of mine and it doesn't stick to the mat as well anymore. It air dries very fast so there is no need to put it in the dryer. Also, wash them alone. They tend to bleed in the wash for SEVERAL washes - and if you wear light colored gear to class and sweat a lot, it might get on your clothes in class too - especially with the red towel. I had no problems with the green one. There is NO drawback to this product - it just rocks.
